Another vigorous Claude Barr selection with peachy-plum flowers in June. Extra large pads have a glossy, purple cast during cooler months. Handsome, long, reddish spines. 15″ high by 48″ wide. Fergusen thinks this is one of John Cipra’s phaeacantha hybrids. Zone 5. Produces abundant, juicy, red fruit. Sold as rooted pad in 3.5″ Pots.
